The History of SV Mentoring
SV Mentoring was founded by Sam Viggers in 2017, the journey started when Sam recognised the need for bespoke sports interventions to assist young people that were not engaging in education due to various factors and their additional needs.
After a spell of professional Rugby, Sam applied the fundamentals and discipline from professional sport to provide positive role models and delivering sports interventions to help young people express their emotions in many different ways. Using sport as a vital tool to enhance levels of engagement and help young people unlock their potential, Sam saw a high level of success which has now led to SV Mentoring building new pathways for families and offering much more that just sports specific interventions.
Since the start of our journey SV Mentoring now provides a wide range of services and delivers bespoke packages to help young people thrive and find new pathways to succeed not only in education, but in everyday life. SV Mentoring is now one of the lead providers in Gloucestershire working with many educational settings and children’s services supporting families in their next chapter of life and helping them rediscover their smiles and finding new aspirations and goals.
