Electronic Access Control Gate required at a School in Stroud, Gloucestershire.
A Junior school had to manually lock this gate via padlock and chain, every day to stop pupils escaping onto a busy road. It was a real pain as visitors and parents arriving in the daytime had to phone the school to come and let them in. If it was raining they would all get very wet.
We had extensive meetings with the school to ensure we designed what they required. This entailed a new gate layout, so instead of people with buggies having to have both gates opened, we installed one new larger width gate.
A new, top of the range locking system to keep the gate secure and stop pupils getting out onto the dangerous roadway.
An audio entry system to manage visitors in and out of the school site meaning staff could stay nice and dry.
Also, a new electronic access control gate system allowing staff to enter and exit as needed using computer controlled fobs system, providing them easy control of visitors and contractors and other staff.
The whole project installed, from start to finish by ASGuk expert team of engineers and office staff was delivered on time and in budget and with almost no disruption to daily school life….well done team.
