FAAC B680 barriers to Clarks Village, Somerset

About this Project

The three new FAAC B680 Barriers to Clarks Village replace existing APT barriers which failed to meet the latest HSE guidelines for safety standards.

Clarks were introduced to us,  and from the moment we first arrived on site they were impressed with our knowledge and experience.

We highlighted areas of concern with the current barrier systems and demonstrated the series health and safety risks they posed.  As they’d already had a number of reliability issues it was logical to replace them.

Despite not being the cheapest we were selected for the project based on a wide range of skills in the access control  and integration of their other systems, which sealed the deal as we could provide them with a complete one stop solution.

The new B680 barrier now not only meets the latest standards but they’re fast, effective and look great too.  Installed along with new pedestrian safety railings colour coded to match Clarks’ corporate colour.

The whole final project was completed on time and in budget, with little distruption to daily activities of the site.

The final result is a safe working system that guides pedestrians away from danger areas and provides the site with reliable operation 24 hours a day.

Client Clarks Village adds:
“Working with ASGuk has been a great pleasure, their engineers are professional and attention to detail to ensure we had the right solution really stood out.  We love our new B680 barriers and would highly recommend ASGuk and their professional approach to anyone”
